Alex Goot yang lahir 15 Maret 1988. Dia tinggal di Poughkeepsie, Alex Goot adalah seorang musisi, ia memainkan piano, gitar, drum dan berbagai alat musik lain. Dia mulai membuat cover lagu yang diaransemen ulang dan memainkan lagu-lagu sendiri pada tanggal 15 Februari 2005. Dia menyanyikan banyak lagu-lagu pop yang terkenal dengan berbagai seniman, kadang-kadang dengan teman-teman atau kelompok.
Pada tahun 2007, Goot meluncurkan saluran YouTube-nya berjudul Musik Goot. Pada awalnya rekaman itu terdiri dari dirinya bernyanyi dan bermain piano (yaitu: 2010 cover-nya dari "Dark Blue" oleh Mannequin Jack) Alex Goot adalah pengguna yang paling banyak 38 berlangganan di YouTube.
